All of our sprouts are harvested between 6-10 days after germination, when the shoot has the highest concentration of life-giving nutrition that each plant has to offer, and is in its most easily-digested form.

That’s just a SEED HULL.
Due to Health Dept regulations, all of our sprouts are UNWASHED to prevent any contaminated water from being absorbed by the cut stems. We do our best to pick off all the seed hulls by hand, but occasionally we’ll miss one or two. Just give your sprouts a quick rinse once you’re home, and you’re set!
